It is Finished!
The keepsake quilt of memories my loving daughter, Julie, and I arranged and constructed over the past few weeks. Fifty chosen squares representing the life of, and favorite clothing of my dear husband, Howard.
Not only were the patterned shirts included, but also the rugged denim of his favorite blue jeans that I saw him wear so often for work or comfort.
When we spread it across my bed today, we marveled at the cheering bright colors that lit up the room. Then we realized it reflected the blue wall color of the bedroom!
Thank you, Julie, for the time you put in to complete this treasure! I look forward to restful nights and sweet dreams of memories ahead!
